At the tender age of 18 I hopped on my first long-haul flight to explore a part of the world I’ve never seen before - a solo backpacking trip to Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand. With no idea what I was doing or what to expect, I remember it didn’t take long until I noticed a profound shift in my perception of the world around me through the people I met, the cultures I got to learn about and the remote places I ended up venturing to - the further I could get away, the better.
It’s been my aspiration to travel deeply and find the real and raw in our world - the unfiltered human stories. It helps me realise that the more we learn about our inherent differences, the more connection we feel with each other and the world around us.
My biggest passion is telling the stories of human beings, far-flung cultures and distant places that too often stay untold.
